Here’s a step-by-step guide to resetting your Facebook password:

On the Facebook Mobile App (iOS/Android):

Step 1. Open the Facebook App

Tap the Facebook icon to launch the app.

Step 2. Tap “Forgot Password?”

On the login screen, tap Forgot Password? under the password field.

Step 3. Enter Your Phone Number or Email

You’ll be prompted to enter the phone number or email address associated with your account.
Type in your email or phone number and tap Search.

Step 4. Select Your Account

Facebook will show you a list of accounts associated with the entered phone number or email.
Select your account from the list (if applicable).

Step 5. Choose a Method to Reset Password

Facebook will offer options to send a password reset code to your email or phone number.
Select your preferred method and tap Continue.

Step 6. Enter the Security Code

Check your email or phone for the security code sent by Facebook.
Enter the code into the app and tap Continue.

Step 7. Create a New Password

Once the code is verified, you’ll be prompted to create a new password.
Enter a new password (make sure it’s strong and unique) and tap Continue.

Step 8. Log Back In
